Support Students and Graduates

SPEED is delivered by Enterprise Action supporting students and graduates at the University of Wolverhampton.

Students and graduates from ANY subject area have the opportunity to develop their idea into a business to run along their studies, after graduation or alongside employment in a supportive environment.

Are you a University of Wolverhampton student or graduate? Are you ready to start up your business? We can help you unleash your creativity and supply you with the resources to do so! You may wish to work as a freelancer and turn your hobby into a money-making business or you may wish to run a business on a part-time basis for extra income. Interested? If so, get in touch and lets help you become your own boss!

Financial Assistance:
SPEED can offer you a match-funded grant where we reimburse half the cost of your purchases. This will be subject to eligibility.

Development Workshops:
Fully funded workshops will be offered to all beneficiaries on the project. You will have the opportunity to learn about marketing, branding, promotions, legalities, business planning and many more specialist areas of business.

Business Consultancy:
Our experienced business consultants will spend a total of 12 hours working with you to develop and grow your business.

Business Registration Support:
One of our experienced Business Consultants will assist you when registering your business with HMRC, you will also have the option of registering your business at the Wolverhampton Science Park.
